I don’t think he’s ever talked full nonsense - it’s usually genuine responses filtered through chuuni. The best example i can think of is when he was asked for help studying, where his response could be translated as “this is a trick question, it looks like the answer will be 1 or 3, but if you take this qualifier into account the only possible answer is 4”. Which, i’m not sure how helpful it is, but it is an actual answer, and was dismissed wholesale as chuuni nonsense. I don’t think he’s ever dropped hints about what’s going on though. Maybe his academy city quip during the sports festival? But i think he actually was just gaming, unless his “protection” was “nobody outside the cast actually got hurt”
