I don't like it either, really does not pass the vibe check, but I guess the reasoning is:
Keep him close to beat him up/torture him with cliche inedible food #17583
Use him as he is still strong(?) and should have had a lot of money

Probably to keep him check. If they just kicked him out, there's no guarantee he won't do something similar again with a different group of girls. Better to keep him under lock and key and keep him around to exploit him like he exploited them. That's how I see it anyway.

He wouldn't be able to do that though, cause he ended up warping Eve's power. And she has the sensibility now to stop him from starting it all over again.
