@KittyBlue9 Think there is a translation error here.

* Page 20 : I was really scared when my body disappeared the moment I lost consciousness.

The one talking is the Dark Elf girl, as she had stayed behind while MC went back to the Dream World to get Marie & Wridra. So, the body which disappeared was MC's (plus if it was her body which disappeared, she wouldn't really be able to see it as she would need to be asleep with MC for it to work).
So, based on that, the translation should be sometime like

Possible Correction :
  • "It really scared/shocked me when your body suddenly disappeared the moment you went to sleep."
  • "I was startled when your body suddenly disappeared the moment you fell asleep."
I also checked the Raws, and there was no mention of "losing consciousness".
Revised.

I get this is supposed to be a lighthearted series, but come on... If you didn't want to get into the weird waifu being abducted to be a slave thing you could've just... Not brought it up in the first place?

Major tonal dissonance and I don't feel especially keen on them just ignoring it and going to Disneyland with someone complicit in those crimes.

Uh huh... yeah this manga not only flows better without the fantasy land parts, but makes it way more bearable to like anyone. Seriously brushing aside THAT?!

One of the most casual reactions to being murdered I’ve seen, take’m to Disneyland.
Yeah. Love interest almost got kidnapped and made into a slave... got casually stabbed to death without any proper cause and conflict... but hey, it is Disneyland time so who cares? o_O
I mean I understand it is a lighthearted story, but still ... I wouldn't rest until that asshole is dead, no matter what kind of sobstory or redemption he has with the dark elf and his other women.
I feal like the cast/author really are just kind of glossing over the 'child' murder and enslavement stuff. Not only did she kill you bro, she's actively mad that your not dead and your girlfriend isn't a rape slave. Why are you chumming around with her???? :wtf:

Thanks for the chapter! Contents aside the scanlator did great work!
Yeah…this totally broke the series for me. It was nice and fun for a while but damn did this absolutely wreck my assumptions for the characters. She literally killed you dude. And her boyfriend tried to kidnap your beloved and make her a slave? This is….not great. At all. Damn.
NO. FUCK YOU author. Thats ridiculous. Fuck all the way off, fuck everything about every part of this chapter. No, no, fuck no. You are garbage, never pick up a fucking pen or touch a keyboard ever again. People penning copy pasted AI garbage and peddling it through amazon publishing are better at writing than what the fuck just happened in this chapter.
I don't vibe with Eve that much. She's pretty much an accomplice to the hero guy's serial SA's the way she seemed to know full well about perv's charm magic and still went along with him like a fool.

Marie mentioned the way that guy had the audacious to use that kind of magic on an elf, implying that type of magic doesn't work on their kind. Idk, maybe I'm talking too soon, its rubbing me off the wrong way how she seems to be hinted at becoming part of the squad.

So it's pretty obvious that she's been manipulated by this guy, with or without his charm magic (and considering it seems to have eventually started to have some effect on Marie in the previous chapter, we can't rule out the possibility that Eve was affected by it just because she's an elf). You can pretty much immediately come to that conclusion from how she burst into tears about "getting dumped" by a guy who also just tried to murder her. Not only, as other people have pointed out, does Kazuhiro not really worry too much about dying in the other world, but he's also a generally empathetic guy. I don't think Eve is a mage and she otherwise obviously couldn't have brought anything dangerous back with her, so he doesn't have to be TOO worried about his life in the real world, especially once he brings back Marie and Wridra. So with no further threat to his life, he can safely settle into his "help this cute girl who's clearly in trouble" mindset.

As for the theme park, he's just being mostly a bit selfish and a little pragmatic. He said he's been looking forward to this for a while, I don't remember how long, but he's just not willing to cancel it over this. He could have asked Wridra to stay home and watch over Eve, but Wridra is probably the type to complain about missing out on the fun if he does. So taking Eve (and Wridra) along on the theme park date is honestly just the easiest way to deal with her for the day, without canceling the trip. While it'll definitely be a culture shock for Eve, overall forcing her to experience something different and probably have a bit of fun doing it will definitely help her mindset before confronting the serious stuff again.

TL;DR: Kazuhiro legit doesn't care that he just died, he's actually more worried about the girl who tried to kill him, because he can tell she's been manipulated so strongly. But, he refuses to let it get in the way of his date with Marie. So Eve's therapy starts with a mandatory day of fun at Disneyworld.
