I read up to ch 19 and stopped reading, don't really remember why. Recently came back an hoo boy, don't mke the same mistake I did. For some bizarre reason, the whole world has to revolve around cooking and chefs since that's the main premise, but like... I just find it so hard to take seriously when the whole kingdom's second-in-command is apparently ol' Jimmy the Cook, who makes a mean pot'a soup. He's also the poison tester and the only one allowed to cook for the king, because obviously, it's like good ole Blizzard doing an internal investigation on themselves and finding no wrongdoing. Starting around chapter 30 or something, don't wanna go back and torture myself to check, it all really goes downhill-er than it already was and has some two-bit villain do blatant crimes in front of a bunch of people, and frames the MC and for some reason it works? And drags on way too long as a conga line of gradually evil-er chefs try to shadow government rule the kingdom by being really bad at their jobs.
