People invented a tool that shows your stats (but not your skills) and all the Top parties started kicking out people with "low" stats.

The MC is the only one (that we know of) who can use "Appraisal" to see people's actual skills, so he's trying to recruit people with great skills who've been kicked out of their parties.

This makes him an oddball that none of the guild leadership like so he's basically fighting against the world to change the way everyone thinks.

This chapter: The retarded shitters fired their completely OP party member because the author forcibly lowered their IQ into the negatives.

MC picks up a treasure for free because apparently being fired from this S rank party means if anyone lets you join their party some omega famous person? will get mad... Why though? And has this happened multiple times before for it to be public knowledge??

Some necromancer, a totally not ominously classed person, acts like an evil mastermind despite not really doing anything.

MCs fangirl is already trying to make a harem for MC because that's obviously a fangirls main job.

I really do like the use of "status scouters" to establish why this world has such a skewed view. Instead of standard "dumb ego" we usually get, there is at least a tangible number metric. They still egotistical dinks, but them being able to point at the readings and say "my number is higher" explains part of that.

Yeah it's pretty ham-fisted, but I appreciate that the author at least put a little more thought into the premise than the standard "dumbasses kick the OP member from the party story".

The ability to see stats being a very recent invention goes a long way to explain why so many people came down with a case of the stupids.

It’s actually more that the Scouters all have the same rank and can’t detect skills above it. High ranking parties aren’t just priding themselves in their high statuses but also those known skills (which usually give a status boost that makes it so high to begin with). That tanker’s skill likely could be identified on the scouter, but the Beast Girl’s skill was of a higher rank.
It has been so long that I don’t even remember if this is the right WN I am talking about since some premises repeat but iirc this why the MC’s appraisal can see them since it outranks the scouters

This is the way. In a galaxy far too close to a super massive black hole there exists degenerates. The effects have warped their brains so much that they would mass release a forgotten series from Batoto if the rebel forces attempted to “snipe” it.
