I'm glad Yuuto was able to stop Akira from attempting to reincarnate (sheesh even this foolish notion has made its way here).

Now only time will tell whether or not this will spiral into an unstable relationship (or rather more so than it arguably already is). Akira did some very condemnable things, but they weren't the most terrible examples of that and she is even close to being the root of evil in this story.

This won't be a pretty journey, I don't doubt Akira is very unstable and could do something terrible still... but she needs help, and sometimes a sincere and persistent hand is what is needed.

So let's just wait and see where this goes, and easy on the hate throttle a little, for now at least.

I don't know how many more chapters Tetsukazu plans to make but a timeskip could be of great use here. As it stands right now it could go on for at least another 20 chapters but I'm not sure that would really add much to what we already know and after what transpired in the last chapters it's fair to say that les jeux sont faits.
On another note, I love the bottom panel in the last page with the stop signs, like to say that they're both past the point where stopping this relationship is even possible.

Especially since there was an incoming Truck-kun so the next chapter would have been about Akira regaining her past-life memories in another world (and no doubt becoming a yandere all over again).

That face on page 10. I could only imagine Akira saying it in the most soul-crushingly "empty" way possible. Good on Yuuto for saving her life, but I don't know about the part where he basically tells her to live for him like a love confession. Maybe, y'know, send her to therapy instead of pursuing his crush like I think he'll do. Pretty sure pressing for romance at this point isn't going to end well, but otouto-kun isn't particularly smart.

Serious "I can fix her" energy right there, but it'll most likely end up becoming "She can break me" or "I can make her worse" instead. If she ends up breaking him and his life turns upside down, he'd be lucky if class prez Enmi is still around to catch his fall.

The thing is: Akira isn't the root of evil in this story. She's not even the worst element of this story. The root of evil is something everyone has been ignoring: Shitty mothers create shitty kids. Everyone in this story who has a bad life is the direct result of their shitty mother. Everyone in this story with a stable life has a stable mother.

Obviously that isn't a coincidence, because the mangaka intentionally put it in their story. The moral of the story: If you're not crazy, then go hug your mom. She did her best and deserves that recognition.
