Uh, didn't he say in ch27 that he knows she doesn't care about him?
I was on his side up until now because throughout the whole series he seemed fully aware of what kind of girl Akira is and the true state of their relationship but now I have no idea what to make out of this. In all honesty it reeks of bad writing and inability on Tetsukazu's part to wrap things up in a decently coherent way. I'll refrain from making further assumptions and wait for what his reaction will actually be in the next chapter but this development killed all the excitement I had for this series. Oh well.
