I don’t like the mail lead .
He is going to be one of those guy friend that once the girl finds a bf she loves he is going to confess and guilt her about how he was there all this time ? Like you had years to confess, give her some hint, whatever ...
He just like being in love with her and that’s it.
Sabotaging like that is very pitiful. That right there shows they are not suited for each other.
He should be with a girl where he will be willing to fight the right way.

The tittle: 'He who doesn't believe in fate'
Also him : 'Is this the power of red string?'

Should've name it 'He who can see red string' instead

Oh, great idea. Bold-face lie to the girl you're in love with. Great way to build a mutual, trusting, loving relationship, right? Dipshit. I was rooting for the ML, but now I'm not so sure he's worthy of her. I hope the FL finds out, and soon before their "date," that the rival doesn't have a girlfriend and she cancels the date with the ML and goes with the rival instead.

ML has it rough. I don't think he's a bad guy or undeserving to win.
In a society made to follow the stream, knowing that all odds are against your wishes must suck, and be hella stressful too.
I'm not saying FL has to end up with ML, but the story we have now is of an underdog going against fate without hurting the person he loves.
I'm expecting ML to make more wrong choices and keep struggling until something happens.
ML is not a bad person, but he must be selfish if he wants to change another person's fate for his own benefit.
... Unless there's a way to change fate, which might be the case?

I'm enjoying this story and I want to see where it will go. The ML is trying to break the rules of a game that dealt him an undesired hand, and that makes good content.
He should confess, but "that'll be following fate's game, and if I follow the rules I'll lose". That's the impression I got at least.

I hope this goes the sad route, and somehow they end up with their 'fated'
Also I don't blame the ML for not making a move. Tbf she never gave him a chance
