What manga do you believe if had a better writing to it would be a masterpiece?

Like we know some good author are also the artist but they usually lack in the writing department and excel in the art department. What manga would be better with different artist or author?

Wouldn't every manga could've been an masterpiece if it had better writing? In fact, the only reason we have so many gimmicky manga exactly because the author tends to use those as a way to hide their inability to write?


That said City of Imprisoned Love was a dope ass manga with a fairly fresh (back then) concept and the first half is really great too but the writing really fails to live up in the second half.

Oh no, you said it, may Internet wrath fall upon you! The dark truth is that they believe that's how it has to be written, including all things they lack any knowledge of. Although, this would still not save isekai series and many more redundant stories of other genres. Anyways, I'm going to play safe and say that anything after the original trilogy of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (except for the ninth part, there's no saving that).

There's quite a few I can think of if the art was better more people would probably read it. Art can make a huge difference. Just look at solo leveling and I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World. Barebone power fantasy tier writing but fantastic art. I don't think any would be a masterpiece but certainly an improvement. I think transfer student storm bringer would have more views of the art got updated. There's some isekai that would probably do better with improved artwork. Like that berserker mob one. But those are the ones off the top of my head. I'm trying to remember the name of one more involving a girl having to kill giant with her husband but I cannot remember the name
