This Manhua is like injecting sugar into my veins

Not to mention how awesome its conversations of politics, society, progressive economics, and breaking cultural norms are.

so if I want to ever own my own place, the trick is to get a wealthy lady to pour wine on me, and then proceed to teach and bully her until she falls in love with me

lol that faye's "business plans" are actually just some random news articles. is that how they were in the original?
TOGETHA

So what's the chance that Irene's economic plan in the book is logical but will fail in practice because societal issue?
To Irene this situation is profitable regardless

if this succeed, then it means her idea work and can be expanded further
if it fails, Faye would be in her debt
I'm thinking that Faye's plans are likely going to bring her directly into conflict with Hesha, at the very least cutting into Hesha's profits with a bunch of new competition, resulting in Hesha getting all self-conscious about how she's now unable to provide Jolene with the lifestyle she deserves (with all the focus on Hesha splurging on Jolene being set-up for this)
