The good news is that the final 2 anime episodes are finally scheduled for Dec 28th. The bad news is it looks like there's no Sasakoi chapter listed for next month's Yuri-Hime, likely due to the author being busy with other things like an art exhibit and Watanare's anime adaptation announcement.

What? The final two episodes are JUST coming out? Wasn't this anime start in spring/summer? I heard the production was messy but surely...?

Hima Smort

I'm surprised how much I've been liking Hima since she hasn't been the manga's primary focus. She was so boring as a protagonist but she's so funny and cute as an ensemble character?
Anyway this chapter was really cute. More AkiShiho always makes me happy ^_^

Just another chapter of a story of how 2 MCs became side characters in their own RomCom.

It's sad how many authors don't know how to write the 2 romance MCs after they become a couple. The manga either ends or the focus shifts to the (mulitple) side characters; including even great stories like love is war and horimiya. Not so say its terrible writing all of the time, just a shame to see much less of the main couple

Tho ngl an exception that I can come up with is the anime tsuki ga kirei, they get together early on and the rest is about them as couple and individually. Really good story, just really short.

Yes!!! I feel like tsuki ga kirei doesn't get mentioned enough. It did a great job at establishing a couple and then continuing a story involving many characters but keeping the main couple as the focus.

And I agree with you as well about horimiya great story, I love it. But after the main couple gets together 80% of the rest of the story feels like it could have just been it's own show. Main couple might as well have not even been there.

In terms of whisper me a love song. I have to look up the characters to even remember the names of the 2 MCs. It's a shame because I liked their story, the side characters are decent enough I like them but again I feel like they should just have their own series.
