Knew Aki would be used as a catalyst, kinda sad hope shes not just thrown to the sidelines after that (cough cough Sayaka cough) and gets some development after cuz well shes a surprisingly very likable rival lol.

I like Aki but well shes known Yori for a long while she had a huge advantage over Himari, time, but she did nothing soooooo .... yeah she played herself.

Still she seems like a nice person did she say that so Himari starts taking things more seriously? Is she really gonna try for Yori now? Seems like a bit of both, again she seems like a nice girl even comforting Yori even though everything shes saying must be hurting her.

Gotta respect Aki for being politely up front about it with her rival instead of just causing a bunch of jealousy drama. Actually a better rival than Sayaka, since she's not actively trying to keep her love interest in an unhealthy head space.
