I still feel really bad for Jeanette.... also still dumb people hate her cause of bs zero sum fallacy (as if her getting love means Athy can’t and vice versa) or from misunderstanding cause of the novel and supposed spoilers (that aren’t quite exact) lol. Oh well.

Also, I wouldn’t say nothing happened this season on a significant level compared to season 1 tbh. Just a pity we got fewer chapters this season than last.

@papperless I feel as if Jennette might have it just as bad as LP!Athy. LP!Athy had at least Lily that genuinely cared for her. Although the Alpheus appear to be caring for her, Izekiel literally just shot her down the previous chap, saying that Jennette isn't his priority and he much rather be with Athy, while Mr White is only using Jennette as a tool. Even Jennette feels that disconnect since she only ever calls him 'Mister' instead of Uncle or any other name that might signify familial closeness.

Jennette feels like the outsider in her adoptive family, its kinda understandable that she feels closer to the complete stranger(technically her dad) at least emotionally because he actually pays attention to what she has to say, be it about just little things or her internal dilemmas.

@Flowerthinking Jennette's magic doesn't kill Claude, it just eases the pain but not remove the cause. It was the curse Claude cast on himself to remove his memories that killed him in the end.

As for Athy's magic going crazy, it was Ana that tampered with Jennette's gift that caused the haywire, not Jennette herself. It was way back in season 1.

as for my feelings about the chapter it felt quite weak for a season finale, just ending with jeanette right before she got up would have felt stronger and given her thoughts more weight.
and speaking of jeanette, the hate here is so over the top. she's not evil for wanting to be loved and she's not an idiot for not being as smart as the reincarnated heroine who knows the story plot or the male lead who is both older than her and raised to be a perfect little heir, just let her breathe damn.

Lucas’ words about Athy continuing to study magic seems to lowkey say that Athy would really be the one to cure Claude of his memory problem since this is related to Athy’s magic. Maybe this is the goal of Spoon instead of having Lucas cure him like in the novel 🤔 morning
