Though I am basing that off the novel, but the manga adapts from it so it's gotta be good right?

Why do dragons from this manga look so awful?
I want a PROPER dragon lore with dragons having cool deisgns, why do you reccomend me the manga where dragons do not even resemble dragons?!

WHat I need is a proper dragon lore. Where dragons are powerful (as they are supposed to be. MC still can remain as the strongest, but still), look cool and are not being slain/tamed.
Also dragon forms should be frequent enough, they should not be for one single time like in Beast Master (just few seconds before a human form is revealed and never seen again) because nowadays human forms feel more like the way to get rid of dragons' dragon forms.
