Why are translation group start releasing chapter in parts and not the full chapter?

Can someone explain why this weird trend where translation group would release chapter in parts? Example like instead of Chp. 10 it's 10.1, 10.2, 10.3? Why not take a longer time to finish the damn thing into a single chapter?

@Waifuhunter101 Publishers release chapters into parts, so most scanlation groups do the same. Some do wait until a full chapter is released and group the parts into one chapter though.
