Weirdly similar to other series. The whole "Gains a power, and forced to join a paranatural division of a police force that utilizes the story's spontaneous disaster affecting Tokyo" trope seems a bit overused.

I am sure this is good. And I really like the concept, because I have been thinking about plants being unable to parasitize animals and how interesting of a biology one plant that could do so would have, for a long time. However, those first 2 chapters hit me with too many and too large to ignore cliches. Especially when the words "humanity's only hope" were uttered, my joy was just Thanos snapped. And I wish everyone who can look past that a very pleasent reading experience, because the first 2 chapters -in terms of worldbuilding especially- were very promising.
