@Mythoroid If you hate "those kinds of things," then don't read it. You were already told why he is avoiding using magic, it's because priests get hunted down and killed by murim as a result of some dispute we don't have all the information about. He emits energy, which he cannot hide, but he knows no martial arts. He can only fight with magic. As long as he doesn't fight, people who can sense his energy will just assume he's a martial artist and leave him alone. Using magic in the middle of a fucking bar just to resolve a dispute with some idiots is the dumbest possible move he could make. There's no way stories of that wouldn't spread. He would have murim on his ass within a week.

If you can't accept the perfectly reasonable and sound logic behind it, then just drop it. Walk away. There are plenty of edgelord chunni isekai revenge stories out there for you.
