I like the kinetic energy of this exchange, if the translation's accurate-- there's at least two double meanings in play and they don't linger on any of them.
Also, the idea of "bearing sins together" seems so dramatic to me, like the kind of thing that'd be said in the final climax of a longrunning story and not chapter 11 of a rom-com. Not that I dislike it at all.
