Mad respect for the publisher's letting the author take time off to raise his kid.

Not all companies are this nice, some are assholes who use your own childcare leave THEY GAVE YOU as an excuse to demote your productivity rating, and later on use that against you to fire you.

I think the publisher has decided the wolf girl series should be replaced with the authors' baby raising series,it'll generate more money then any amount of fiction ever would.

More so once the lil' lass starts getting her ass in trouble on two legs!
