Was recently diagnosed with asthma. That dinosaur costume callback had me laughing so hard I was choking and coughing. I completely forgot about that chapter and the doofy face is so perfect

ahhhh seeing Makiba doing "tee-hee" with a straight face
dino flashback!
If older siblings get together it would somehow feel anticlimactic. These two didn't have any chemistry or anything and it would totally feel like tying loose ends.

anyways, thanks Osis!

The siblings weren't supposed to be important, it's only here to show that other people have their own shit going on beyond what the MCs see. There are plenty of more important side characters here, the picture you posted doesn't fit in at all.

so the author's gonna use the remaining chapters to hastily wrap up things with the side characters. dunno what's so hard about just having the main couple get the spotlight AFTER they get together? like go on dates, visit each other's families, summer holidays together and whatnot.
Honestly, don't most romance manga focus on the main couple until the end after they get together? To the point where the side characters don't get closure. Komi-san and My annoying Senpai being 2 examples of this, although to be fair, the Senpai one got axed and had to rush to a timeskip.

While I don't mind seeing the main couple developed, I also want to see the side characters get closure if there are any loose plot threads hanging around. A balance can be maintained if there's enough chapters left.

Also, I would argue that Komi-san got worse after the side characters were mostly dropped and the manga mostly focused on the main relationship. It was honestly the most boring one to me. The worst part is that the hilarious chapters featuring the 2 younger siblings of the MC's never showed up again, and those chapters absolutely lapped the main couples' chapters.

If the author had maintained a better balance, there might have been even 1 or 2 spinoffs of Komi-san by now.
