Slop translation... The story has some potential, but I'm not gonna follow it if the translation quality doesn't increase.

So if the drug ingredients are isekai only, how did they pass the approval process with unknown ingredients? By bribes?

No kidding huh? you can tell they really don't give a shit when they can't even be bothered to read their own translation, calling the coworker MR. Saida when she's in a fucking skirt and heals and clearly has visible boobs in every other scene after changing into the jumpsuit. Just pure laziness.

Same way any newly synthesized chemical is approved for human consumption. Which would ultimately be small potatoes in the face of their true accomplishment, keeping a portal to another reality secret for better then a half century.

Not only their own government, but practically every single nation and large organization would want a piece of that portal and the resources there in. So those bribes you alluded to are not really for getting life saving medicines past the medical regulatory board, it's to keep the fact they have entirely new region of high quality exploitable resources hidden from anyone who would fight them for access.

NGL, I like the premise, but find it's implementation rather unreasonable. Granted we have only gotten a first glimpse into this setting, but the fact that the materials collection department is so rundown it feels shortsighted, even for an evil black corporations. At some point in the last 50+ years they would have been exposed.

They have little to no security besides obscurity, the staff seems lackluster and free to come and go as they please, and whole department is completely understaffed and underfunded to the point of their office looks like a janitorial closet. Even if Severance levels of security things would have slipped out.

Even if the whole idea of the story is that this group is the lesser of the companies resource gathering departments, it would only make exposure even more likely. As written so far, it's to the point the story only works because the author flatly ignores it working any other way.
