@sakaiy exactly. It's geting a bit tough to keep up, and even re-reading the whole thing doesnt help. I think the story has become a bit too big.

..They should go full on kengan asura, and give each character a title card each time we seen them. Would actually make it a bit easier to follow.

Last chapter, that had a 2 months break before it, was bad. This one was actually easier to understand. And I also concur on it becoming too big. I smell a strong drop in reader numbers.

We need some good sum up, that includes:[ol]
[*]the lore of that world (about how power shifts between powerless (fighters) and mages occur, whenever a dark god descends/short introduction of powerless and mages)
[*]the world map
[*]the countries/fractions/parties (Which country is what again? {It really didn't help the plot, that one major player was just written off and hasn't been important at all even though it had been hyped as the enemy})[ul][*]current important characters
[*]a short introduction too all characters, that had been semi-important at some point (really short. 2 or max 4 sentences long at most)[/ul][*]the current events[/ol]And with a good sum up, I mean a good one. Not that "We reintroduce our MC and 4 of his love interests + 2 extras" crap most mangas pull on one page.

This manga is very heavy on the text side. So rereading this whole shebang, to end up forgetting everything again, because it will again take several 2 month breaks in close succession...I understand if people don't want to do that.

@Sakaiy @00111 Check Misticsan's post from the comments of the previous chapter. It helps a whole lot.

It looks like the new woman is indeed going to join Yuusuke's harem if her formal underlings are planning to have her die. It's not like she would have many choices left.

The whole plot is a jumbled mess at this point. hardly anything happens. Just more exposition/dialog from people I dont know/care about.
Im too dumb to get whats happening anymore.

I think the problem is that the arcs all only contain the information for that arc rather than starting to weave in lore points that will be important later and introduce during the preceding arc. So it looks like possibly the writer is only planning an arc at a time which means that each new arc needs massive context dumps to make sense

For all those lost about the factions and characters, I'll post my (updated!) summary from the last chapter (I know I needed one too, sigh):

Fonclanc: The country Yuusuke is working for right now. Ruled by king Esvobus, father of Violet, the twin-tailed princess. Divine artists are the elite, but things aren't as bad for the powerless as in other countries. Most of the cast are from Fonclanc, including Sun, the entire Dark God Squad, Kreivol (the princess' assistant), Hivodir (a fiancé candidate for the princess) and old master Zeshald.

Gazetta: The only country where the powerless rule. Shinha, the big white-haired guy, is their king. The loli grandma, Ayuukas, is also from there. They've proven their power after conquering Nossentes, but that expansion is making Fonclanc and Trentrietta uncomfortable.

Blue Garden: A neighbouring country ruled by divine artists. Thanks to Yuusuke's intervention, queen Rishaleus (who was also Shinha's childhood friend) now rules it without being a puppet of a rather warmongering faction. Reifold, the shady spy, seems to be from Blue Garden... but he also seems to be working for several factions at the same time.

Nossentes: Another artist-ruled country, their Divine Council tried to use song princesses like Lasanaasha and Laazasshia to manipulate and get rid of Yuusuke. They also used other agents to cause trouble to their neighbours. In the end, they were destroyed by Gazetta and there was much rejoicing.

Trentrietta: The last country Yuusuke has visited. They're said to be hedonists and pacifists, but House Elfodras wants to change this. They were the ones behind the monster facility and seem to plan a rebellion as the "Wind Blade". Reie, the girl, is the current head of the house after her father died, but the actual power in the family is in the hands of general affairs chief Fotres, finance chief Ailzahha and military chief Benefost.

From what I understand in this chapter, Fotres and Ailzahha are planning to ger rid of Reie to galvanize their forces and, with their monsters and mercenaries, start an uprising against Trentrietta's government. Knowing that Fonclanc and Trentrietta are at odds with Gazetta, they reached out to king Shinha to cause some trouble in the frontier so that Trentrietta's army is distracted.

Meanwhile, Yuusuke is busy with his inventions. But he's going to be in trouble, because after his many victories there are rumors being spread that whoever earns his favor will get lots of good things. In Fonclanc, people think it's all about position and amazing gifts (it doesn't help that his Dark God Squad is getting promotions and cool uniforms, and his inventions are truly amazing), whereas people outside the country believe he will lead entire countries to victory. That's why Reie was told that "World Hegemon" nonsense and is currently going to meet him.

@Misticsan: Thanks! Now starts to make sense again and I start to remember stuff, but...You forgot about commoner/villager girl and first love interest Whathername. Fonclanc nobles are after her ass in a bad way, and there also was that adventurer/soldier/warrior scumbag, that turned his back on the village and was after her ass in a different way.

@criver
Exactly, other isekai authors are at least honest enough to not spend entire chapters on poorly written political intrigue. This one is trying too hard, the author needs to learn his place as an isekai writer xd
