Why does he not become a civil engineer. I mean he could totally move from city to city setting up public works. He could also work with the worlds engineers on a mega project which would normally be impossible to create slowly. Creating an entire city from scratch and set up a government based around trade and education with automated food harvest would allow the world to get out of the middle ages and sling shot the scientific knowledge into the modern era.

@vodspod he'd still have to contend with the same political powers that have sought the status quo or their own advancement over others. More actually since by attempting to make his own nation out of a city-state out of another nation's land and people is kinda... He's just got motor vehicle methods figured out, he's still a very long way from automated agriculture. Besides, scientific advancement of the world hasn't been the issue dear to his heart, rather the bullshit caste system created around divine arts is.
