Is pouring wine on a grave an acceptable manner? I do understand if the deceased is like a soldier or someone who likes drinking, but this is your mother. I can’t help feeling that this is scandalous.

Well, I am not an expert on manners and etiquettes, so I can’t really say. It would be considered sacrilegious if this were done with graves in my country though (an Asian country)

To be fair, it is a fantasy world and a totally different culture, so I am not really judging. It just felt a little odd to me.

@HayashidaYuki He didn't obey him. Sirius accepted the invitation because what's the harm in listening to whatever the man has to say? It might have bothered him afterwards if they had just walked away. Chances are it's nothing useful, but on the other hand he might learn something that will benefit him later. Dorianus probably knows all kinds of shady types, so he might let a piece of information slip.
