Glasses was put under an enslavement curse by O'ltomea when he was summoned, and it looks like the "Organization" removed it to save him.

The same thing would have happened to Ryouma if he hadn't slaughtered everyone in the room immediately and disguised himself as a wounded soldier to escape.

I have no clue which country is which anymore, I can hardly tell who the bad guys are. I'm like a guy on a raft with no way to steer or control the speed.
I honestly remember the novels being better at keeping the different factions distinct than here... somehow. Maybe its just that its been a while since I read them but I dont remember them being this disjointed.

Childhood friend and cousin, if you're talking about Asuka. I think the MC has banged the twins at this point, but I could be wrong.

I have no clue which country is which anymore, I can hardly tell who the bad guys are. I'm like a guy on a raft with no way to steer or control the speed.

Here is the map shown in Chapter 8:

MC was originally summoned (also Glasses was summoned 10 years ago) by O'ltormea (O'ltomea), the empire in the center of the map.

Once MC killed the summoner team, saved the twin waifu-slaves from death, and escaped the empire he traveled through Helnesgoula Kingdom working as a mercenary. One of his jobs had him escort a group from there to Rhoadseria Kingdom, where he got caught up in the succession war between the two princesses. He picked a side (which won of course) and the Princess granted him a noble rank and Wortenia Peninsula to keep him from joining one of the other countries (see map from Chapter 42 below).

While the MC started building up his land (wiping out the pirates, becoming the lord of the ninja clan, etc.), O'ltomea Empire started a war with all of the nearby countries to try and expand quickly. The MC told the Princess that they needed to re-establish an old alliance between the four countries currently being attacked to keep the Empire in check, which is where we're currently at in the chapters.

During this time the MC's grandfather (who had been summoned in to this world in the past) and his waifu cousin were dragged to the world through a freak wormhole accident. The two of them were separated due to some attack that I'm too lazy to look up, and the cousin was rescued by knights from the Holy Empire, which is west of O'ltomea on the map.

It was now revealed that during the grandfather's time in this world he helped form an organization that directly opposed the Holy Empire which, surprise surprise, was run by psychotic religious nutjobs that's part a dangerous cult.

That's all I got for now. Feel free to add more or flush out details I missed.

Just want to clarify that MC traveled to Myest from Helnesgoula (it is mentioned fake princess is in Myest). From Myest to Rhoadseria was the escort mission.

Had to re-read the whole thing to make sense of stuff..

Regarding the Bangedness of the Twins, they aren't as yet.
The only banging the MC has done ( as per the manga) is with a maid dumped on him by the count of the gate-town bordering Wortenia, and even then more or less under duress ( boohoo, Bad End for maid-kun if she fails to seduce etc..)
So maid-kun punched the MC's V-card, but he has been annoyingly chaste since.

The MC is, in that respect, protected by plot armour made up of constant warfare, overwork, the various harem prospects getting in each other's way, and if all else fails, sudden attacks of such density it creates its own event horizon.
Not that booty-time is necessary for the plot, but it's getting silly how the MC, as a brilliant strategist and all-around military genius, completely fails to fall for the ongoing pressure of some very, very determined women.

My guess is that the fact that the MC should be currently 17-ish is the main issue here. Or rather, those nice people that guard those almighty japanese morals and "age-label appropriateness" .

Really appreciate the summary @HDMI1 , the manga editor is really falling down on the job here in not pushing for clarifying notes [Meanwhile back on the peninsula], transition boxes [...], or just basic character design to make the nations more distinct; just no sense of space at all.

There is a real feeling of the artist being overworked and really only putting in basic effort.

Too many new (or long forgotten) characters in this chapter to make sense of much of anything. I love this series, but this chapter was just WAY too much info dump at one time, and it was too hard of a transition from the last chapter. Though it probably wouldn't be as bad if it updated more consistently.

I mentioned this in a previous chapter, but it's a lot easier to understand what's happening when there aren't multiple month-long breaks in between chapters

As of right now it's actually a pretty decent, albeit not entirely smooth, ride
