But yeah, the Manga skips a lot of Stuff. It also has the Side effect of making certain things seem "nicer" ... including our MC. Seriously He isn't a bad guy but he can be veeeeery nasty.
It do also has the Side effect that it makes Mikahil's push to fuck over our MC (by suggesting to send him to Wortensia) even more irritating since the hostility feels even more unwarranted as we lack his inner thoughts and his, admittable rather stupid, reasoning. Though in retrospect that was kinda throwing away the stone that would later kickoff the Landslide that will bury him so maybe he did good

Wasn't there a plot thread about mc getting poisoned and his harem was panicking, then there was a sudden time skip and did the story ever go back? Then suddenly there was an elf girl and a conflict that resolved off screen in a couple of pages for no reason? Or maybe I'm confusing this with a different series. I don't know what's going on anymore.

The manga was more understandable before that, there was a linear story being told, now there's just a lot of time skips forth and back the story of the master and friend from Earth that came after the MC, but everything is mashed into a single chapter in a way that is hard to fully understand.

1. I think I like the level system being hidden like this. Number is static and make the fight look like a risk management, and number comparison math, hence less interesting and more predictable.

i only binged the series now so the plot is still fresh but yeah the damn pacing is horrible especially on skipping some crucial stuff like the time ryoma is dying(?) while training his prana and the next chapter simply dismissed it. anyway the guild receptionists are rather uniquely designed with somewhat enigmatic characteristic, not to mention how the one from the starting city kept being shown as mentions so i wonder if they'll be crucial someday.

All I could remember from this is the corpse of that knight dude being a puppet for that old guy. Even then it could be wrong.

kinda suspected this mainly because how off mikhail acted, must be the sudou guy pulling the strings. not sure if he's actually japanese because the MC didn't point it out despite his name but kinda cool to see isekai'd middle aged man like him

No. Mikhail is just dumb. Even Lupis’ naive royal knight recognized his stupidity when he walked into O’ltomea’s trap, which is why she reported him. Everyone even calls him a meathead. He doesn’t think. He’s also a spy.
