So... I can guess that "*" is a number in this world hmm... And when it got clearer with the story .... it got even more confusing now... what are you trying to do?? Make use of her appearance in order to get the throne or something??

Chapter is confusing because they never outright stated that Ryouma apparently has mindreading powers because of his ability to check peoples pulses. So here, he's just asking questions and making guesses based on the armored dudes response. Honestly, it's ridiculous as hell. Definitely needed more time establishing that kind of ability too, instead of the really quick and not very establishing moment with the merchant a few chapters ago.

Dang, author did all that confusing stuff just to end up doing an info dump. And then finished the chapter with a confusing scene and mc yelling out for unknown reason.

What did the tranlator mean by 'she doesnt have silver hair', its exactly how they were describbed earlier: one is blonde, the other has silver hair. Its right on chapter 4, page 23.

Author reminds me of that one guy who writes Freezing and other incoherent manwha.

It’s confusing because the translation is a bit clunky, but the author also abruptly switches from the merchant interrogation to the knights with 0 context.

The merchants were mercenaries hired by the corrupt guild master (Ryoma first notices the calluses on the fat merchant’s hands when he’s massaging his shoulders two chapters ago). They torture the fat merchant for info and then talk to the knight captain, which is why Ryoma lies about Rora’s origin and asks oddly specific questions.

It was just bad plot structure in an effort to be clever.
