This time was just a callback to the previous conversation, which had the additional context of "He just found out our world has been enslaving people from his for centuries. What would you do if I was taken from you and enslaved." It doesn't matter that they're currently both slaves. The other half of it is the main point.

This is a childish, and patently incorrect view of things. Knights value ETHICS, not morality, and a not very equitable set of ethics at that. Mercenaries have their own code of ethics, it just meets a very different standard than that of the knights. It would help if the knights would stop fucking over mercenaries at the drop of a hat.

Hard to have anything other than the morals of am alley cat when your employer is as much of a threat as your opponent.

3 years late but I think it bears (heh) mentioning - I think using "morality" was a mistranslation. LHT are notorious for sometimes having sloppy TLs and proofreading (especially with words that have multiple meanings)
