On a personal note,
Abstract art is something that I will never understand.
Is it because I am not smart enough
or is it because the people who made them has a VERY big brain
to the point where only big brain like them can understand?
(or is it just not my type of field)

2. Put it in a cheap frame and mail it to me in a single-rate USPS Priority Mail box, so it gets knocked around
3. Bullshit up a paragraph about how it represents the malleability of the experience of consuming art, blah blah blah
4. Take this enormous stack of money off my hands

Can someone explain the red square?

New here so hi to all of you in the thread first and foremost
Also to me the square doesn't need explaining, but I guess that's the fun part about any art at least in my opinion. Just feels like a good reason to find meaning in something that may or may not be there which will definitely give a lot of philosophical drivel even if the artist just intended it to be a square.

It does make it fun though just to see what it reminds people and acts as a good conversation starter and kind of puts your own experiences in order to interpret it. For me I just see more of the slant rather than the square but the square itself is just kind of a square. The art sent by Pipson2 though reminds me of the city mats you'd see in classrooms for children so that's fun.
