it was... they could have split the app or just created multiple themes/modes for their main app with more business-like settings like slack/teams/etc and kept their good old branding for their main user base
I have a big long ass list of things in the last few years that actively made the platform worse and should be something unimaginable for a platform with 500+ million users
fucking imagine you release a feature early and after 5+ years you don't even update it once while the shitty implementation continues to impact users every day
oh and I can't wait for the new mobile ui. It's everything I hate about Microsoft Teams
