I think the flashback of their kiss shocked him , esp if he doesn’t expect himself to be gay (assuming Itsuki is male and not a tomboy), no bl tag tho then again spoilers aside that probably wouldn’t be added if not the focus/rare for MCs to be bi and having exes /dating both in other romance stories but depends
