The new chapter is here! This chapter was pretty funny, but seems like also rushed. I feel like this is how the chapters will be from now on then. They didn't explain why she chose each char there, and why the witch boy I forgot the name now is dressed as a girl, I do know the reason why but should've been explained in the chapter. (Also, kinda odd for her to be training while still wearing that white dress but ok...)

Oh would you look at that Liliana outfit is the exact same as one of the Novel banner I saw 4 years ago, I remember back then I saw someone spoiled saying that Ji Bai would no longer existed and would be replace by a female knight which I didn’t believe at the time until I search for the image and saw a Web Novel art of Bai Ji & an Unknown female Knight instead of Ji Bai Knight Lord, which at the time I was worried since the male female dynamic would be gone here the art that I saw back then while searching in google

P.S. Who is even the random Blue hair girl in this chapter, cause I’m pretty sure that isn’t Gordon, also the comparison will be made later I got to collect details from the Novel first but this chapter is really funny just like the Novel, I laugh so hard almost the entire chapter while reading

Even in the Novel this exact same events and dialogues happened as well with everyone getting confused at Liliana identity who used to be Bai Ming but one key detail is definitely removed and that Liliana didn’t mention that she technically isn’t Bai Ming but only a fragment of her to clarify to everyone else beside being Bai Ji daughter through first embrace and having Bai Ming memories

They are definitely rushing it to the very end, same with the Novel, I feel like we might not actually see the side stories that this Series has and that it would end with Volume 12-13 being the final chapter with maybe the Epilogues

They are definitely rushing it to the very end, same with the Novel, I feel like we might not actually see the side stories that this Series has and that it would end with Volume 12-13 being the final chapter with maybe the Epilogues

Yeah, seems like we won't get the side stories, only the end of the main story. I kinda wonder if they'll change anything in the end tho, since they've been changing some small details here and there.

Yes, It's not explained in this chapter of the manhua, because they skipped it, but his family's powers grow from seeing themselves as "beautiful", basically narcissistics, and only works if they're a girl, so gordon has to dress as a girl for it to work.

Honestly still feels odd seeing Yana so locked in consistently compared to earlier on the series when Bai Ji isn’t around.

Also didn’t expect to see Gordon crossdressing again but I’m here for it. I assume it matches with what his ancestor used to wear in the devouring realm.

I wish we got a bit more of an explanation as to why she choose them but I assume it will get explained later on.

Other than that its nice to finally have the knight part of the title take center stage again, even if its not the same knight.

This chapter adapts Volume 12 Chapter 30-34 of the Web Novel yea, so alot of content was skipped mainly cut the dialogues and character bonding between characters on how the Team to rescue Bai Ji & Defeat Twilight Star/Muxing was formed, what the Manhua showed was only glimpse of it and what went on between the characters. Mainly the explanation as well why Gordon has to cross dress as I send earlier some words or sentences from the novel which told us that Gordon had to wear girls clothes because his ancestors gain power from wearing human clothing being Witch heritage but since he is Male he can’t fully use his powers for now, Liliana casually saying she is now in the body of her descendent in the novel as Yana mention that this was Bai Ji other body. During the training arc that has happened in the span of 2 chapters that was skipped to being only a few panels in the Manhua was just friendship & character bonding between the characters with Liliana inspiring Lisha & Yana to work harder in order to improve, also another information Manhua didn’t mention is that because Liliana was inside Bai Ji, apparently she has some fragment of Bai Ji’s Memories which she is able to use and know of Bai Ji plans & motivations along with what happened after the 2 separated I guess while fighting Sin Lord & Etc getting out of the Darkness place. The Reason for training is because Each of the people that are going to rescue Bai Ji if anyone have notice are descedent of the 5 great heroes, Lisha from the Gatekeeper of demon king castle, Huo lei for during the 2nd trial with Bai Ji getting saved by Ji Bai one last time. Yana I guess beside Bai Ji related to Rena Lasambo, and finally we have Gordon who is related to Noona, Since Lilina has Bai Ming memories and close to those 4 other heroes she is able to tell their descendent of their true potential and help train them to utilize their Ancestral powers or lineages to full extend. Liliana asked Elder Nim(Vampire elder holding staff) to help train with Lisha as well. Lilina told Huo lei that he has ability to restore spirits beside repair & constructions along with telling him to strengthen his bloodline as training also Huo lei was feeling nervous seeing the legendary paladin in font of him which was funny in the novel, As seen in the manhua panels it all about teamwork with Huo lei paired with Lisha as like the beginning of the story,Gordon was taught to do some flare light magic beside crossdressing which I assure you will become very handy/helpful in the battle that is to come against MuXing. For Lin tuo & Musan well there training is just not much just that they think they know their basic well and have mastered everything only to get beat up by Liliana and apologized tarnishing their ancestral heritage begging her to help them improve because they tried to take shortcuts too much. Despite their bruises and Injuring they all kept training non stop until they are all finally ready to go amd rescue Bai Ji with Ji Yue helping them leave with parting gifts for the journey. I won’t mention the rest just incase it shown next chapter with Musan & Ji Yue conversation during parting gifts
