That went about how I expected it to... well, at least the mom doesn't seem bad. The unexpected part is that there might be something about sex that affects her... which is weird because she didn't seem worried about that at all in earlier chapters when trying to make that happen. Maybe it has to do with the Hasshakusama half?
Anyways, Yachiru will soon find Seichiro likes her as she is and then maybe will explain everything to him?

Well, the big thing with pure Hachihaku-sama is that she kidnaps kids, or at least stalks them.

And for her dad to be human, it's entirely possible that her mom essentially groomed him.

That's assuming the mom is the yokai and her dad isn't some form of giant yokai, like a Gashadokuro. And her mom wants to talk about boning!

The mother initially gives the impression that she doesn't seem particularly malicious or evil or anything, but her manner of expression is noteworthy, especially since we don't yet know if that's entirely her way of speaking, and particularly since we don't yet know Yachiru-san's past...
