Also, I find it heartwarming to see Yuu comfort Akari. If this was pre-Touko Yuu, she definitely wouldn't be as sad. Deny as she might, she knows the feeling.

Why bother with shoujo manga to learn what love is when you can experience it for yourself? Love isn't all about being swept on your feet after all.

The supporting characters in this manga are quite likeable. This was a nice chapter for Doujima Kun, he's a good guy.

I feel so bad for Amari but I saw that coming since the sports festival chapters. Oogaki really does suck ass though. He didn’t have to say who his GF was but he could have at least said he already liked someone. The way he phrased it made it sound like Akari still had a chance and gave her hope. I’m glad that Doujima got so mad on her behalf and defended her confession and validated her feelings. You can tell it actually did make Akari feel better.

I agree, and to me it sounds like an answer given to keep Akari around as an option instead of allowing her to move on
