>always wanting to die until you're dead, no matter what

i feel you, ladybro. I'd be willing to put dying off until later with the right circumstances tho

at this point we can really confirm she has a messed up head yeah?

so i assume the term sociopath would fits her? If that the case then Shiina shouldn’t be able to feel any emotion such as love(if she really is a sociopath), and only see Kaname as nothing but a tools to fullfill her desire(which i think she makes plenty obvious in earlier chapters).

I hope the series will continue in a direction where Kaname will uncover the truth behind her messed up delusion and will become a main force that helps Shiina(or at least will try to help her, like Airi)

Then again Kaname seems to be getting just fine and accept(sorta) with the idea of Shiina wanting to die. So the story can also ended up with the MC falling down the insanity rabbit hole.

@uvarine while there are no clear distinctions between the therms sociopath and a psychopath, some times even reported as interchangeable, in the sense that both lack social empathy, can easily manipulate those around them, and gravitate towards violence, a simple distinction to make between the 2 is that the sociopath is made by society, however she is too young for such a nurturing effect to have taken place, and her obsession with dead and experimentation with animals point towards her being biologically prone towards violence in which case she would be a psychopath.

If the main character starts following on her antics he would become a sociopath as he is being nurtured into someone incapable of empathy, while his suicidal tendencies turn towards homicidal tendencies.

Another difference is that the sociopath is more impulsive, while the psychopath is able to go their whole life without indulging in any criminal behaviour to the point that their condition doesn't actually becomes a proper psychopathology until it becomes a hazard for themselves or those around them.

The girl here is already missing an eye, has cruelly killed a bunch of animals, and has probably committed murder before, but even without the last part, yes she has problems, also she has manipulated her childhood friend and classmates into buying into a fake persona, of course this part thanks to her childhood friend thinking that she can make her normal and deluding herself to look away from reality.

@criver the terms were so useless they are no longer in use, and got replaced long ago with Antisocial personality disorder and dissocial personality disorder for good reasons.

@Doomroar There is a clear distinction between the terms, and they are alive and well, still in use. ASPD is an umbrella term that covers both.

Psychopath and sociopath are outdated terms yes. Also the whole "they can't feel empathy but only mimic it" thing you hear over and over again is mostly bunk. People are capable of both full emotional response and horrific cruelty on others.

@Traze are you gonna said people who diagnosed with psychopath and said they can't feel empathy, lying? Cause there're many claim to be psychopath saying that while sociopaths don't.
For me psychopath and sociopath are very different from each other, I did believe that psychopath is born while sociopath is made.

Ps. sorry i just saw that all this is old comments

So it's Airi to blame that Shiina is unfortunately still alive. That was a big mistake, the world would have really benefited from her death
