I know teenagers and even adults athletes can get arrogant if not hold a bit but doing this so much just because of little errors only grinds the person's self-esteem, more so in a young person, this coach is an asshole with an outdated mentality, to say the least.

As an athlete I kind of disagree with that yet one can go overboard but at least he's not smacking him or benching him. Once you hit the world of sport outside of high-school if you weren't humbled there I guarantee it will be much worse to have it done to you in a bigger league.

What the assistant coach saying makes sense as in, you can't become complacent otherwise you won't grow and you will stagnate.

HOWEVER, the methods the coach are bullshit. Fuck this cock sucking prick. To think that the coach for "PUSHING HIS PLAYERS TO BEING THEIR BEST" is giving him WAY WAY too much credit. The simplest reason of acting like a cocksucker is because he is one.

Anyone in this position who sticks with it and becomes better doesn't thank the coach for bettering them. They are actively doing better so the wife beating coach won't capriciously jump up the player's ass that day, which is not really a great motivation and will actively poison the very sport that you love playing.

Nope, you r running if you r defending and running to catch the ball. It all depends on the position you r playing.
