I mean... idk about cow but for Delicacies they do sometimes like high-end fish, pig, and the really expensive cows like for wagyu. But it did happen far far more often in Medieval times and the like

There's another instance of this on the death mage were protag and his adoptive sister go to an adventuring school and then they end up taking over the teachers on the fighting practices, and it gets to a point where the principal literally begs them to take over teaching and to graduate them early. MC refuses just because.
