to be honest Kase san is really idiot sometimes, the '' you have to win a race against me to be able to move out '' is pretty much retarded ( are you 12 ? ) but it's even worst because it's even a bother for yamada who managed to find a new place pretty quick and have her lease deathline

Yamada is supposed to be a bubbly naive cute airhead but she's the most mature of the couple.

I get that it's a big point of Kase-san's character to be a bit insensitive but come on, you've been planning to move in with your girlfriend for over a year and not only do you keep the fact that she's your girlfriend a secret to the people who think it's just a regular roomshare, but also act like it is a regular roomshare enough to gamble on it, the heck man

It's just a race for their egos, Kase is leaving regardless of the results and bitch roommate had no saying in this.Hell if she even have a saying in this, Kase moving out has nothing to do with her.

But she didn't really, the roommate more or less know that Kase is going out with someone. She just assume it's a boy. Although she has suspicions it's Yamada. But honestly, just because they're roommates doesn't mean she had to told her about private life.

Kase is way past insensitive. At this point Yamada is just a pet to her that needs attention twice a week and feed it some love every now and then. I think this chapter perfectly showcases just how ridiculous Kase has been in the second part of the series. I personally despise what the author did to her. This is a one man effort relationship with Yamada trying to progress/save it. The last panel is a nice cliffhanger tho, maybe we get a "grow up Kase" part now.

Kase is basically saying: “I know that you are my GF and that you have been looking for a place so we Can live together, like we talked about for a long time, but my random ass roommate say I need to beat her in a race before I can move out, so I Think we should wait to move in together, since my roommate and the race is more important than you Yamada”

I think the worst part is that all of this was because Kase-san. The move to Tokyo,the idea of living together after a year and etc and now she do this!

I think what will happen is that Kase-san will not get to listen and have to go out running leaving a sad Yamada behind or she will just say "Yes,she is." and go out.

First series was fun (or at least cute). This one is just so annoying. Everytime I read it, I'm like, OK I'm done....but then a new chapter appears, and I'm like, ok just one more try....Shame on me really >< (the annoyance is because of dumb ass behavior of Kase)

And yeah Yamada should break up, but probably never going to happen. Oh and roommate probably into Kase.

Hopefully Kase will wake the hell up and realize what's important to her and cancel the race. This whole race thing is grade school level plot. Sure, people will do all sorts of stupid things to please their colleagues (like cancelling date with your wife to go drink with your friends in order to preserve relationship with them, etc.) but deciding your relationship via race with roommates is a whole new level of stupid.

One character behaving irrationally is kinda fine but Fukami is behaving like a grade schooler, too. Then, there are their friends and the whole track field group - nobody said a thing about how ridiculous this whole situation is and how it's probably not the best idea to let a competition with your roommate decide your life choices. Flowerhead Yamada somehow became the most adult and dependable one of all characters...

Sometimes I really get annoyed with them.
It makes me understand that both of them are still so young and making so many mistakes. I hope Yamada opens up and speaks her truth. Also Kase-san needs to understand that her girlfriend should come first than her roommate that she barely knows.
I'm curious about next chapter, the title makes me believe they will figure it out at least to a hickey happen 🤭

Honestly it'd be slightly less ridiculous (still ridiculous overall) if they hadn't already found a place to live in together. But the fact that they did, and they had to give it up just for this just makes the situation all the more asinine.

Also, as some have already stated, Kase should get her head straight. She herself had already stated that she'll still be seeing her roomate and the other girls in the club. So she has no reason whatsoever to even have accepted the deal, let alone honor it. Truth be told, I really hope that Yamada lays her feelings to bare, because Kase definitely made a poor choice.

Oh my god I get that this is manga and we need stupid conflict for the story but damn why couldn’t Kase just say “Fuck you, I’m not racing you so I can move out, I’m an adult and in the real world you need to be quick to find a nice apartment.” Why didn’t anyone else on the team be like “Wow, that’s a really stupid an insensitive suggestion” when the race was even brought up?
