Since this is my first upload, I had to wait a little bit for the approval of the chapter, but I've talked to zobo before and during the process of the translation of this chapter and we're coordinating ways to keep releasing on a relatively frequent schedule. Why snipe? Zobo's been doing a good job and it's barely been 2 weeks since the last chapter.

Sorry if it looks like I sniped it, but since they never include a card or anything and keep the chapter clean, I wanted to do the same.
I decided to scanlate this as a personal project because I like the manga and wanted to polish my japanese reading. I haven't personally translated 1-18. I bought the raws, cleaned them and got in contact with the current scanlator to make sure it was okay and also to get some proofreading and general tips. Actually, a considerable part of the translation work of this chapter was provided during the proofread/quality check by zobo, since I'm still getting the hang on the translating front. Their translations are really fluid and great to read, I still have a lot to learn.good luck tho other than having the first 19 chapters up yourself on your own personal site, feels like it'd be a bit awkward to start at chapter 20 of an existing series versus chapter one of another, maybe you can translate another josei romance like this
bit more serious and long but would you consider picking up AsuKanojo too?
I think it's more so the opposite, no? Honoka isn't catching feelings for Kanie, even though everybody else around her might suspect that she is, considering the way Kanie himself is acting. I think it's a way to question the expectations everybody has about Honoka, even her own. Her crush on Iida seems so natural at the beginning, because it is presented first and from her perspective, but wouldn't it make more sense for her to like Kanie, who looks out for her and has stated plenty of times before this sort of roundabout attraction for her (when he defends her at the mixer, and liking the feeling of his pillow, and the kissing stuff)? So in a way, her liking Iida is already a first step at challenging everybody's misconceptions about her, and setting up Honoka as someone more profound than meets the eye. Not that it's incredibly significant, anyway, since there's not that much of a difference in Kanie and Iida at face value. It seems like Honoka is slowly moving towards Kanie rather than Iida as a potential love interest. She has romantic feelings for Iida but the story has set him up so far to be someone who really doesn't seem interested in dating currently. Kanie's just sort of moving into position as the main love interest just because Iida isn't doing anything beyond what one would do as a colleague in a club.
IDK if it's just something that women understand more than I do but why start catching feelings for Kanie? Kanie's the guy who's set up as the semi-serious playboy. Just continue opening up with Iida if you're so into him already.
