"Duel is not unbanned until one month after enrollment" is a pretty convoluted way of saying "Duels are banned until one month after enrollment".

A proofreader might help catch these kinds of readability issues in future releases.
Sorry about that We don't have a proofreader, so we weren't able to thoroughly check the wording, I've fixed the sentence now

So... This new girl isn't a character from the anime MC watched in his old world? He didn't seem to expect to see her or anything.
This is still years before the starting point of the anime no?
From the looks of it the principal here found the MC first, and MC is, most likely, the driving force of these special admissions. That's why in the OG timeline she wasn't invited by the principal, which means she didn't have the impetus to love magic again and she faded into a background character.

so... Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

i can already tell how some teacher will react after a few arcs.

Haha I didn't think of this. Amazing. Thankfully no one gets close to filling the "Ron" position. These are like 3 Hermiones with different personalities.

I fucking love this dialouge bro, especially with our mc and former protag they're dumb as shit but its so good. Hopefully this author continues to keep the quality of the interactions up.

Also,

Yuno might be my goat, he's great.
Leave it to Yuno to look for a way to intentionally give it a weird color (while still being effective).

Yeeees. A new magic friend. Kinda ship it already because nothing is sexier than someone with the same autistic hyperfixation as you speaking your language, but I would not be mad if they just stayed friends.

I actually quite loved this chapter. Now it's three friends being exceptional doofuses making weirdly colored potions for fun. Also cutting through her complex immediately so she can open up and start joining the fun on the first day.

It was also funny how the duel set up last episode was casually blown off. I guess everyone fixated on that over the comment about strange magic power mentioned in passing.
Once again, it does feel like the top ranker is being reasonable if immature.

Someone once pointed out that Harry Potter was a jock who depended on Hermione to do his homework, and I've never been able to unsee it since.
It's part of the characterisations... Rowling nailed the various stages of Teenage in many of the main characters. And really didn't hold back..
It depends on whether you grew up with the books, or were already "Adult" when they came out ( and yes, I have 1st ed. hardbacks.. )
You see very different things in those books as you age and become... less idealistic/innocent ( never , ever , an ...."Adult"...) ...

The frat jocks were the Weasley Twins.. Harry was never an actual jock.. Just very fast and accurate on a broomstick...
And you have to wonder, after all of the story..... , in which subtle ways him being a living horcrux influenced things... It certainly bothered the People Who Knew...
He wasn't immortal or indestructible, but the Horcrux curse itself tried to ensure it's own continued existence, reardless of the circumstances, and Voldi was definitely aiming to re-absorb that part of him, so it's not as if Harry could have avoided much of the stuff he got himself involved in.
Besides the fact that he was Broken to begin with... "Harsh" doesn't even begin to describe his formative years... Rowling took Dickens and dialled the Adversity up to 11 there...

Hermione is the typical Mother-Hen Smartass.. She's actually more 2-D than Harry or Ron, because she really never changes much over the cycle, right into the "Epilogue"..
Ron, at least, dries up into a reasonably functional adolescent at the end of the main story..
