For once I want the pretentious/aggressive way of instructing in anime/manga to be wrong. Like in most of the medium, its used to show the characters that they are missing something. They're tough but with love and such. But like in this situation, I want Inuyama to consider that this place may not be right for him then leave. But that's just my crack theory haha. I think the author is good at eliciting that feeling of wtf in the scene.
