Seto will straight up fucking explode and die if he shows any signs of physical affection towards Anjou, okay he's awkward, but she's been his friend for months and girlfriend for a while and yet she can't even kiss or hug him without him having a stroke.

If you have never had physical intimacy with a person of the opposite sex, it is nerve-wracking to suddenly be hit on. It's like being a rabbit out in the open staring at a fox. You're unsure how to proceed.

Here's my plot stab. Anjous mom thinks hairdressing is below her daughter and perhaps Anjous father left her.

Seto steps up and talks to her because her decision which resulted in Anjou running away hurt his love, Anjou.

Somehow that ties into Seto being a responsible adult.

Mom gets that her situation isn't what the future is for Anjou and sees how mature Seto is.

Happily ever after...

My fave part of these chapters might be Seto totally owning wearing Anjou's clothes.

He don't give a fuck about wearin' women's cloths. That's masculine AF.

People really do be bitching at Seto for being how he is but don't ever bitch about Anjou literally not being able to take anything seriously. She genuinely can't even talk about herself without pulling off a joke or pulling off sexual jokes to do stuff with Seto.

That's what makes this pairing so interesting. A booksmart kid who likes studying but has no clue about girls or what he wants to do with his life, with a gyaru who can't take anything seriously, but also can't grasp what she wants to do with her life. It's a dichotomy but they have a lot more in common than they realize.

Point is, stop bitching about Seto. Poor kid has never had to deal with ANY of this in his life. He's being pulled along by someone who's just living day by day, and he's trying his best to keep up.
