I knew it wouldn't be addressed and their inability to communicate their thoughts & feelings would keep festering by chapter's end, but I didn't expect the plot point interruption to be Anjou's dad.
Wonder how long Seto will be allowed to stew over this before it's finally talked about, or if he'll blow up like a pressure cooker at some point down the line.

Given Chiita's idea was picked for the class event for the festival, I kinda wonder if that will factor into this, assuming Seto builds any resentment toward Chiita for her part in why he's upset. It was an offhand comment, but involves a character who put that video up in the first place, so it feels weirdly significant to what's currently going on.
I could be wrong, but. Guess we'll see.

They're separated, most likely. I don't think any form of the expression "I'm home" in japanese would indicate otherwise, considering the context is him talking to his own daughter. Would be different if it were said to Anjou-mama and is reciprocated, though.

Actually - maybe the dad will be instrumental in Seto figuring some stuff out, himself.

Not saying a potentially deadbeat dad makes for a good role model, but an adult male character who has some connection to Seto's GF, might offer some insight into what Seto can do to address the conflicts in his own head, and seek a bit of character growth / progression for his goals, by comparing and contrasting himself to another man who's ostensibly important in Anjou's life.
