"It's Toyoda Saturday! Yaaaaayy- wait? Is this a public humiliation ritual?"?

No way she will make Inuyama do what I think she is asking right there in the restaurant, no way, right?!

Anyway, while Toyoda might me "crazy" enough for me to tell Inuyama to "run", specifically so soon after what was revealed about Anjou's parents relationships, I also think Inuyama should be glad. Really happy. Because doest this means, even "proves" that Toyoda really likes him?

This is a manga and she's super hot so no problems here, but in real life I'd be really wary of a girl that starts acting like this.

I her defense, Inuyama was "asking" for the class to make a Cat Café so he could have the excuse to use the ears and receive attention from other girls.
Inuyama asked, in front of his girlfriend, to get attention from the other girls from the class.

That was just a joke that could actually become real.

Inuyama definitely messed up, but it's not just thoughtlessness on his point, nor any will to cheat on Toyoda. Instead, it shows that Inuyama's continued lack of confidence is having unintended effects on Toyoda. So, not only does he have to tame the horni and be considerate of Toyoda, but he also has to have confidence in himself so that he doesn't make Toyoda insecure with his insecurity. Pretty good chapter for this manga's best couple.

Alright, this is ... getting old. Like I know kids have drama over the stupidest things, but this has beaten me. I'll tap out until it's complete and read the last chapter. It's like reading a child's version of what they think a soap opera is.

But he said "even if he wanted", meaning he doesn't.
And the way he phrased it he denigrated himself also meaning that no one else would want him anyway.

In a sense, that's not really that great either.

Why would she be okay with being with a dude who has such little self-esteem that he would denigrate himself like that in an effort to "appease/appeal to her"?

What does that say about Toyoda that she's willing to be with a guy who has such a poor image of himself that he'd resort to putting himself down just to make her feel "secure" in their relationship That she's dating him out of charity?
It just makes it look supremely unbalanced as far as their dynamic goes, and like she's "settling" for him when she could have someone better.

That's unfair to her and how she sees him, and arguably could be construed as calling into question her judgment in dating him in the first place.

Oof, his wording was poor, yes. But, when it's your first go-around in dating, you're not likely to get everything right, even later on down the road. It's all part of the growth but he needs to consider what he says more.

But, pouting and refusing to explain herself even when he wants to know what the issue was and was ready to resolve it, is also not good.

I mean, in English "even if I wanted to" implies "but I don't want to", dunno about Japanese.
I can't read Japanese but I do know it's even more heavy on the use of implication than English, but I don't think it's unreasonable to want your partner to directly say they wouldn't instead of imply it, especially in this case when he had already said something she was uncomfortable with earlier

Oh I'm all caught up already :(

I binged the entire manga in just a couple of evenings... it's such a great romance manga.
