Apologize for what?? Where does it say she's into girls?

Luffy would be jealous of your reach
It doesn't even elude that she's into chicks 🤣
Sure, she goofs around with her friends but those are obviously jokes. People just want to create their own narrative mate 🙄

Just to piss off the nay sayers. I’m really enjoying this arc. They don’t really have any reason to hate they’ve just decided they do which is why they never have any specific comment on what they don’t like except the nebulous concept of slow pacing. Me on the other hand, I think this is really start to develop and become really interesting. Also I TOLD YALL SO, feels like she’s stuck in the past? Afraid everyone is moving on without her? Watching her friends get boyfriends and slowly move away? She definitely has abandonment issues.

My prediction:
2 chapters of Tokio trying to talk with the guys about what’s going on with Chita

2 chapters of Chita trying to talk with the girls about what’s going on with Tokio

4 chapters of Chita and Tokio unable to hang out like they used to

6 chapters of Chita telling Tokio she doesn’t deserve him

1 chapter rushing Chita and Tokio reconciling and just ending up friends

Then an indefinite hiatus.

We’re in the Bad Place
Kind of like what happened to the What are You Doing Here Sensei? manga. Had a 30 chapter arc of the worst pairing in the series.

Well, sucks for Tokio on an emotional level, but at least he now knows what is up and can move on, even if he doesn't like it.
Surprisingly sane chapter for a chita one

This is rich, while everyone is talking about how bland and uninteresting both Chita and Tokio (and by proxy, their relationship) are.
Fucking gremlin that solely exists to make this manga worse smh.

I wonder how many people would hate me for saying that the truth is that Chii is the most complex character in the story, and this chapter reveals that. This explains everything she's done until now. She's not just childish, she literally feels like she's being left behind because she just can't seem to grow physically or emotionally. Nothing makes sense to her. She's constantly fighting an inner battle as she watches everyone move on with their life. This shit hurts and feels super personal. 👌

Then that's people letting their bias and their preconceived notions blind them to what this arc reveals for Chiita.

Everything she's been doing is a result of her grappling with the fact that she's not experiencing the same sort of adolescent development that her peer group is, and she feels like she's being left out & left behind because no one is there to tell her that being this different is okay.
And, she is upset because she cares about Tokio, but the way they like one another is incongruent because Chiita doesn't feel or understand romantic attraction--and staying around Tokio would hurt him, but losing him would hurt her.
Hence her trying to be the "villain" and push him away us causing her pain here, even if she thinks it's the right thing to do to spare him.

If people don't see what's been worked up by the author, that's entirely on those people for being unable to (or refusing to) change their mind with the introduction of new information.

Yep, "I can't accept your feelings and that's why I don't deserve you ;_;" is absolutely trying to be the villain and push the guy away cleanly to spare him, lol.

(While shit like uploading videos of her friends in underwear for clicks is just being a good friend)

Oh. So that's her angle, inferiority complex. Kinda makes sense with how she constantly acts, mostly wanting attention and trying to prove to everyone else that she's worthy of it. She's self-aware.
