I don't have the visceral hatred of Chita like some folks do, it's just unfortunate for that character that we have two other far more interesting couples that we could be spending time with.

If she was the main character of her own series I think folks would still be frustrated but would be a lot less harsh on her. Her journey from kind of a bratty chaos goblin to utterly confused at what exactly it means to love someone and struggling to figure it out is some of the same kind of catnip that ToRaDoRa was made from.

I think the author should just make Chita a confused lesbian so she has something going on and then some drama with the relationship with Toyo's brother. She just really has nothing.

I can't lie I find everyone outside the main couple boring and just skip the chapters. Glad to see that my instinct has been right so far this chapter was boring af

Not only does she ghost him but she constantly gropes his sister. He needs a new partner bro make her aro or lesbian and give her an actual girl because I’m getting tired of her constantly groping the other girls who got a man. It’s not funny and the fan service is tasteless. she acts and looks like a little boy so idk what tok sees in her honestly

I find them less interesting. They've got their major relationship roadblocks out of the way and are just dealing with normal high school stuff like career plans and such. The hard truth is people prefer them because they're gooner bait.
People prefer them because they're not Chita, the most annoying character, and because they're attractive girls in a romcom about attractive girls*
That's the "hard truth".
Saying Anjou and Toyoda are "gooner bait" (words used to have a meaning) when the whole freaking manga is heavy in fanservice es wild. Have you seen the covers? If you're reading Anjou-san, you like sexy girls, and you're gonna get sexy girls. There's no bait in there.
If Chita was sexy or cute, but had the same personality, people would still hate her
