Is this an innuendo, 'cause it sure feels like it is. Pitching and catching, her being more experienced than him, Seto finally giving an adequate trow, hmmm... 😂

@Jockpo523 You’re overthinking it IMO. While there are definitely a decent amount of innuendos in this manga, I really don’t think this was one of them. Pretty sure it was just them throwing a baseball around and Anjou giving Seto more confidence.

How is it possible to be that bad at throwing a ball?

Easy. I used to coach Little League and it was quite common for at least one member of the team to be that bad and never improve.

she is literally throwing herself at him and he is still having doubts and playing himself down, there's a limit for certain things.

@jokerxhisoka It's clear that he has severe self-esteem issues which is probably why he still doubts himself. I imagine it would have to take actually telling him how she feels for it to sink in and even then, he might still doubt himself.

@fluffybunny645, yep, pretty much it. People with self-esteem problems are also often pessimists, and our boy is a prime example of it. When you mix everything together you have someone who will need a hell of a shock therapy to be able to take the first step forward, and even so, will need lots of other "shocks" to keep on moving.

Seto, my boy, if somebody hugs you, and you don't hate them... Hug. Them. Back. It's the polite thing to do, if nothing else.

They're like, less than 5m apart though. Short of disabilities (and very young/old people), I've never seen someone so bad as to throw the ball 1m into the floor in front of them.
I have no idea what ages "little league" is, but I feel like you could gather up all the high-schoolers in my city and nobody would throw as bad as this dude.

It could be because of their mindsets, sometimes literally thinking you're bad at the game, actually makes you bad at the game.

@deCarabasHJ The curse of the hoverhand is real. It took years for me to work past my autistic aversion to physical contact and general awkwardness.
