but essentially she is reading Oria’s diary where he writes about alternate storylines that could’ve happened, he sees them in his dreams. It’s a power her has. The LN explains it better. The reason why she was imprisoned was because she was imagining the scenario

EDIT: SO I WENT BACK & READ CHAPTER 22 which is when lycoris finds out about rui xiang's doll making habit and he tears up, asking lycoris not to hate him... well now we know why he reacted like that BUT ALSO HE TOOK OFF HIS GLOVES AND HELD HER HANDS WHEN HE ASKED HER TO NOT HATE HIM! WOW!! HE WAS READING HER THOUGHTS!! and also wow he was able to hold her hands, look how far he came but WHAT A SNEAK LMFAO ADSLKJADS

Kinda wish Rui Xiang had been more involved in the earlier arcs, but he really is a bit out of place. ^^;;

@mammaria Thanks for bringing that up; I'd forgotten about it. Rui is adorbs, though Lycoris seems to get along better with Oria...at least, up until now.
