I think this explains why despite how smart she is she can't focus or finish school properly. He was clearly her biggest anchor in life.
Yeah, she's literally frozen in place because of losing the one person who was there for her, supported her and loved her unconditionally. I was a grown ass adult when I lost my dad and it tore me up. Can't even imagine what it must be like as a teenager.

Nice to see a dad in these that's not written as either an impossibly tolerant rich superdad or a complete violent scumbag. Someone trying their best in a bad situation and swallowing their doubts to support someone in need is infinitely more interesting than someone who can do and afford anything with no effort.

Remind me of Usage Drop (the journey of both the parental figure and the child) before it gets to the ending (f*ch the ending btw).

Man I really love the dynamic here, I feel like parents-children don't get enough representation in manga.

That last page hit like a brick to the forehead. With how well this arc was written I honestly would like it if the author wrote another manga with a parent/child dynamic like this once they finish this one.

wonder why alot of romance type stories always have a mc/fmc with a single parent or dead parents like its kinda annoying
