As a non-smoker, I've been theorizing the coolest, matured, most respectful systems and techniques to smoke cigarettes in preparation of a potential midlife crisis, and I'm glad this manga exists to show me a lifestyle that accomplishes the exact opposite.

Admittedly having to watch my dad die slowy from smoke related illness [and watching my elder brother take up smoking despite that] sparred me from the habit.

My mother wrote her graduate dissertation on the effects of smoking on the English working class, my whole childhood neither of my parents smoked and my smoking relatives were shunned, and I still took up smoking in my teens and quit in my twenties. People in general aren't particularly rational. Much respect to you for not repeating mistakes.
